Terms of Service

The agreement between SS Welding Qatar and our clients.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any services provided by SS Welding Qatar, a division of Aamtron Group. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

SS Welding Qatar is a stainless steel welding and fabrication company registered in Qatar, operating as a division of the Aamtron Group. Our registered address is Street No 400, Building No 3, Office No: 5, Salwa Road, Doha, Qatar.

2. Quotations & Estimates

  • All quotations are free and without obligation
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue unless otherwise stated
  • Pricing is based on information provided by the client; material cost changes may require revision
  • Site surveys may reveal additional requirements that change the final price — any change will be confirmed with you before proceeding

3. Orders & Contracts

An order is confirmed when:

  1. You accept our written quotation in writing (email, signed LPO, or signed contract)
  2. We acknowledge your order in writing
  3. We have received any required advance payment

4. Payment Terms

  • Standard payment terms: 30% advance, 40% on material arrival / fabrication milestone, 30% on delivery / installation completion
  • For projects under QAR 10,000: 50% advance, 50% on completion
  • Payment methods: Bank transfer, cheque, or cash
  • Late payments attract interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by Qatar law
  • Title in goods passes only upon full payment

5. Delivery & Installation

  • Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith and are not guarantees
  • Delays caused by client (late approvals, access issues, scope changes) do not attract liquidated damages
  • Client must provide safe access, power, and storage on installation days
  • Risk in goods passes to client upon delivery to site

6. Warranty

We provide a workmanship warranty on fabrication — the warranty period is stated in your quotation or project contract — covering:

  • Defective welds (cracks, porosity, lack of fusion)
  • Incorrect fabrication to approved drawings
  • Structural defects caused by our workmanship

Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or vandalism
  • Normal wear, surface marks, or weathering
  • Rust from incorrect cleaning (chlorine, steel wool) or contact with ferrous materials
  • Alterations or repairs by third parties
  • Design specified by client that proves unsuitable in use

7. Material Standards

All stainless steel supplied meets the grade specified in your quotation. Mill certificates are available on request. We reserve the right to substitute equivalent material where the quoted grade is unavailable, subject to client approval.

8. Client Obligations

  • Provide accurate information at quotation stage
  • Approve drawings and specifications in a timely manner
  • Provide safe site access and conditions
  • Pay invoices according to agreed terms

9. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation before material procurement: advance refunded minus 10% administration fee
  • Cancellation after material procurement: client pays for material plus work-in-progress
  • No refunds after delivery or installation except for defective goods (covered by warranty)

10. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including: natural disasters, government actions, extreme weather, strikes, pandemics, or material shortages.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Qatar law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the value of the relevant contract. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Intellectual Property

Drawings, designs, and technical documents produced by us remain our intellectual property until fully paid for. Website content (text, images, code) is © SS Welding Qatar / Aamtron Group.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably; failing that, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Qatar.

14. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Projects in progress are governed by the Terms in force when the contract was formed.
